Balloon in Ethiopia
We ended our 2023 watching the sunrise from a balloon in the sky of Addis Ababa. It was a magical and unforgettable experience. As the balloon ascended, the sky began to light up with the first rays of sunlight, painting the horizon in shades of orange and gold.
Parapente no Rio
After years of dreaming about paragliding, I plucked up the courage to jump from Pedra Bonita, in Gávea, Rio de Janeiro.
An exhilarating and liberating experience. As soon as my feet left the ground, the sensation of floating over Rio’s iconic landscapes, such as São Conrado beach, Christ the Redeemer in the background and the vastness of the sea, was surreal. The wind on my face and the panoramic view created a feeling of pure freedom and connection with nature.

Timket
Timket is one of the most important religious celebrations in Ethiopia, commemorating the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River. The festival, which takes place in January, is an Orthodox Christian celebration marked by vibrant processions, singing and prayers. Replicas of the Ark of the Covenant, called "tabots", are carried in processions from churches to sacred water sites, where rebaptism rituals are performed. The event is a time of deep faith and spiritual renewal, as well as being a rich cultural manifestation.
